Leah works closely with WIDS clients to help them develop learner-centered courses and programs for both online and traditional delivery. Since 1998 she has provided training and consulting to clients throughout the US and Canada and served as a key writer on major instructional design projects.  From 1986-1997 Leah served as instructor, instructional designer, tech prep coordinator, and dean of manufacturing, engineering, and electronics at Moraine Park Technical College (Moraine Park) in Fond du Lac, Wis.  Her experience also includes serving as a curriculum development specialist at Austin Community College in Texas, where she used WIDS as the framework for implementing Work Keys into the curriculum. Leah holds a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Texas-Austin and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education - industrial arts from the University of Vermont in Burlington. She also earned an associate’s degree in computer integrated manufacturing from Moraine Park.
