Osborn, of Columbia, Conn., started with WIDS in 2000 as a learning design consultant, who collaborated on statewide curriculum initiatives in Wisconsin, and delivered instructional design consulting services to college, university, K-12 and corporate clients throughout the United States. She was promoted to associate director of consulting services in 2010, where she managed the WIDS consulting and training team, served as project manager of all consulting and training contracts, contributed to the WIDS business plan and mission, and delivered learning design consulting services.
Prior to coming to WIDS, Osborn served as curriculum specialist at Austin Community College in Texas; and as dean of manufacturing, engineering and electronics and at Moraine Park Technical College (Moraine Park) in Fond du Lac, Wis., among others. She holds more than 23 years experience in curriculum design and instruction.
Osborn, who earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial arts education from the University of Vermont, in Burlington, also holds an associate’s degree in computer integrated manufacturing from Moraine Park, and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Texas, in Austin. Additionally, Osborn is engaged in a doctoral program in adult learning at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Conn.
