Rogers Public Schools
Career and Technical Education (CTE) teachers at Rogers Public Schools in Arkansas use WIDS to develop curriculum and instructional-related documents that relate to each CTE program area.
CTE Director Dawn Stewart says WIDS gives their schools “a framework for working collaboratively with local business and industry to design Career Pathway documents that align high school CTE programs, post-secondary programs and technical training offered by local industry.” Stewart says this helps to ensure a successful post-high school transition to college and careers.
CTE teachers use WIDS to develop course syllabi, state and national standards alignment documents and career pathway documents. The curriculum management platform helps Rogers expand the avenues for sharing CTE information with students, parents, business/industry and the community.
