We'll 'See' You at the 2021 HLC Conference

Will you be virtually attending the HLC 2021 Annual Conference this year?

This year's theme Crisis and Community is sure to speak to every member of the HLC audience - exhibitor, college leadership, faculty, and accreditation support.  WIDS will be exhibiting and presenting with other colleges again this year. Though virtually attending a conference the size of HLC will be different, we are really looking forward to it. If you're planning to attend, please make plans to visit us.

Add these important dates to your calendars:

Exhibit Booth 15 - Worldwide Instructional Design System: Between Tuesday, 4/6 - Thursday, 4/8 until 2:30 pm CDT, a consultant will be attending the WIDS exhibit to answer any of your questions. Stop by. We'd love to meet you on the Video Chat and answer any questions you have about curriculum challenges at your college.  Once you enter the booth, be sure to sign up for the free gift drawing.

Showcase Presentation: The best way to learn about the WIDS software is to hear about it from our own clients! On Wednesday, 4/7 between 1:00 - 1:45 pm CDT, we will be co-presenting with three clients on Preparing for HLC's Visit: Outcome Assessment, Co-Curricular Assessment, and Syllabus. Nicole Cooksey, Curriculum Coordinator at Western Technical College will discuss how their college uses WIDS as the design platform for developing their courses, and once courses are approved as final, WTC faculty quickly develop a syllabus in WIDS for submission and easy retrieval. All syllabi are easily accessed and easily shared. Also co-presenting with WIDS this year is Lynn Neitzel, Director of Teaching and Learning Resources at Blackhawk Technical College uses WIDS and its Outcome Assessment Planning tool for assessment planning, tracking, collection, and analysis. Results gathered are integral to their program review, budget decisions, program and course changes, and professional development. Jennifer Brown, Dean of Instruction at North Central Kansas Technical College will wrap up our showcase spotlight by explaining how her college uses WIDS for program and course design, and more recently in the design and assessment of their co-curricular experiences.
