Val Bielinski

Val Bielinski brings nearly 15 years’ experience with the Wisconsin Technical College System, serving as Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Instructional Designer.  She began her career in training and instructional design with a national health insurance provider, developing and facilitating employee training.  A long-standing relationship with WIDS began in 2003, as she started her role at NWTC, serving faculty and leaders across the college.  This role demanded attention to program and course outcomes, development and delivery of curriculum, quality review based on adult learning standards. Collaboration with internal college colleagues, WTCS leadership and counterparts, local employers and national accrediting agencies showcased Val’s adaptability to meet customer needs. Her role at NWTC expanded to include assessment mapping, DACUM and focus group facilitation, accreditation preparation, data analysis, and professional development offerings.

Val embraced the value of WIDS immediately, contributing to revisions to the WIDS program design and functionality.  She facilitated connecting WIDS with legacy and learning management systems, streamlining the user experience and increasing production efficiencies.  She presented at the WIDS International User Group Conference and served as an active member of the Wisconsin Technical College System Conversations on Curriculum committee.

Val provides instructional design, group facilitation, and data analysis expertise to WIDS clients.  She is an expert WIDS curriculum management application and system administrator user.   Val holds a Masters in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College, Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UW-Green Bay, and a graduate of the Wisconsin Leadership Development Institute (WLDI).
