WIDS is a fully relational SQL Server database. The main advantage to this is that course and program files are no longer disconnected. Users work on “live” organizational data and when data is edited, the change is made wherever it is referenced. The power of a truly relational database allows better control of permissions and access to curriculum.
Our solution is externally hosted on secure servers located at the SupraNet Communications Data Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Hosting includes server/hosting technical support, 24 X 7 monitoring, and backup to ensure reliability and recovery in the event of a system malfunction or client error. The hosting facility is SAS 70 compliant and provides exceptional state-of-the-art security capabilities related to infrastructure/facilities, back-up, disaster recovery, and change management. Our hosting partner has developed, and hosts, solutions with secure client data for municipal, healthcare, financial services, and insurance organizations.
