CurriculumBank

CurriculumBank provides a system for employees and affiliates of the Wisconsin Technical Colleges to share curriculum documents, WIDS files, and learning materials. It features a broad sampling of learning-centered, performance-based programs and courses in a variety of content areas.

The Wisconsin Technical Colleges own the curriculum and learning materials posted on CurriculumBank, and all files and documents are copyright protected. Employees and affiliates of the Wisconsin Technical Colleges may sign-up as members with privileges to download curriculum files, or join in a discussion forum for a specific curriculum project and exchange ideas and learning materials.

Guests may visit the site to see examples of WIDS performance-based curriculum in numerous content areas. Guests may view all curriculum posted to the site, but they do not have the rights to download and use documents or files. Anyone may visit the site as a guest.

League for Innovation

The League is an international organization dedicated to catalyzing the community college movement. They host conferences and institutes, develop Web resources, conduct research, produce publications, provide services, and lead projects and initiatives with  member colleges, corporate partners, and other agencies in our continuing efforts to make a positive difference for students and communities. WIDS works in partnership with the League to offer instructional design training, software, and consulting to League member organizations.

Nuventive

Nuventive is an education-focused technology and consulting company with a mission to provide individuals, educators, parents, and institutions with the tools and services they need to effectively examine, improve, and manage the learning process. Nuventive's TracDat assessment management system and iWebFolio electronic student portfolio system align with the WIDS philosophy and complement the WIDS software, consulting, and training.

Wisconsin Technical College System

The 16 colleges that comprise the Wisconsin Technical College System offer over 300 curricular offerings on campus and via distance learning. Each year the system serves over 450,000 students of all ages and backgrounds. Each of the 16 colleges is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of NCA. The Wisconsin Technical Colleges have worked together since 1992 to fund, develop, and continually improve WIDS.  All sixteen colleges use the WIDS Model and WIDS Software to develop and document performance-based curriculum in all academic disciplines and technical career preparation areas.

Wisconsin Technical College System Office

The Wisconsin Technical College System Office helps to fund, supports, endorses, advises, and uses the WIDS model, software, training, and services. All system-wide curriculum is developed in WIDS and disseminated through the WTCS CurriculumBank.

Wisconsin Technical College System Foundation

The parent organization for WIDS, the Wisconsin Technical College System Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation dedicated to advancing technical and adult education. Since 1977 the Foundation has successfully helped educational organizations develop and acquire instructional materials and equipment. As a facilitator of collaborative ventures among the sixteen Wisconsin Technical Colleges, the Foundation undertook the development, support, and continual improvement of WIDS since WIDS inception in 1992.  The Instructional Design and Planning Division of the Foundation is responsible for the development and deployment of WIDS (Worldwide Instructional Design System).

ModuMath

ModuMath Basic Math and Algebra software is designed for learners who need a refresher or remediation in math. The interactive multimedia software includes prescriptive tests, video-based tutorials, quizzes and a management system for instructors.
 

National Council for Continuing Education and Training

One of the largest councils of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCCET chose WIDS as a supporting partner in their mission to provide leadership in continuing education and workforce development.
